The director

Director - Anton Korenev
Anton Sergeevich Korenev

Being a realistic theater director, my primary goal is to create the inner world of the play, and then to find external means to express (and, when needed, to show) the inner world of the play on stage. The final goal is to have a life-like place, time period, atmosphere and mood on stage.

This production takes into account feedback of John Strasberg, my mentor. Special attention was paid to John's experience while working on one of the most successful productions (if not the most successful) of a Chekhov's play in English in the United States - The Actors Studio's production of "Three Sisters" in 1964 (directed by Lee Strasberg), where John Strasberg was the stage manager.
